Myron M. Levine. M.D., D.T.P.H., the Grollman Distinguished Professor and Director of the Center for Vaccine Development at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, has extensive experience in the design and evaluation of vaccines to prevent bacterial enteric infections, particularly Salmonella. A member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, USA and recipient of the Albert B. Sabin Gold Medal, he has authored > 500 publications in peer review journals and 110 book chapters. He is Senior Editor of New Generation Vaccines (currently in its 4th edition), a leading textbook of research vaccinology.
